Piedras Gordas - PNN Chingaza

Piedras Gordas - PNN Chingaza is a backcountry ranger station-style shelter in Parque Nacional Natural Chingaza, run by Parques Nacionales Naturales. It’s a use-area for people visiting the park on guided, authorized itineraries rather than a standalone destination on its own.

Access for park visits is vehicle-based: the official arrival guidance says there is no public transport to enter Chingaza, and entry on foot, by bicycle, or by motorcycle is prohibited. Before entering, you must register and attend an induction talk, and the park requires guided activity on authorized trails.
