Plummer Hut

Plummer Hut is a BCMC backcountry hut in the Waddington Range of British Columbia, used to access alpine terrain and summits. It’s a remote, unlocked cabin that operates on a bed-by-bed booking system (not the whole hut), with a maximum of 8 guests and quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Bookings can be made up to 180 days in advance. Payment is handled on an honour system (payment supports hut maintenance), and the hut door is left open; when a custodian or other party asks for more quiet, be prepared to curtail activities. The hut is non-smoking, has no garbage facility (pack it in/pack it out, including bottles and leftover food), and guests are responsible for cleaning up daily and when leaving.

Dogs are not permitted in BCMC cabins. Access is primarily via helicopter.
