Route Details

Purcell Mountain Lodge is a heli-access backcountry lodge near Golden, British Columbia, built around Canadian backcountry adventures with lodging and meal options. Winter access is described as helicopters arriving every Monday and Friday from December to April, and the lodge offers professionally guided ski touring as well as self-guided stays for experienced backcountry skiers.

The lodge offers ten private guest rooms in the main lodge, plus a private chalet with two guest rooms that can accommodate up to eight people. Reservations are required, and self-guided stays are limited to designated early-season dates; during the main winter season the lodge operates primarily as a guided lodge, with self-guided generally not available. Self-guided parties are responsible for avalanche safety, navigation, terrain assessment, and daily mountain decision-making; if a group isn’t confident managing hazards, guided trips are recommended.
