Refuge Cap Gribane

Refuge Cap Gribane is a rustic wilderness hut on the Sentier des Caps network above Saint‑Tite‑des‑Caps. It’s managed by Sentier des Caps, used year‑round, and reached on foot in summer or by snowshoe/ski in winter. No road access.

Inside: wood stove with firewood, axe and newspaper, large pot, picnic table, mezzanine sleeping platform. Dry toilet nearby. Water source close to the hut—treat or boil before use.

Approach from the Accueil St‑Tite‑des‑Caps (sector Saint‑Tite) via the trail past Refuge La Faille; Cap Gribane sits on the long‑distance line between the Lac St‑Tite and Anse‑aux‑Vaches sections.

Bring sleeping pad and bag, stove and fuel, cookware, headlamp, first‑aid, and a 9‑volt battery for the smoke detector. No outdoor fires. Pets are not allowed. Bookings and current access details via Sentier des Caps. Official page
