Refuge du Truc

Refuge du Truc is the mountain refuge on the Col du Tricot variant of the Tour du Mont-Blanc, used for overnight stays by long-distance hikers traversing this part of the route. It sits on the Truc plateau at about 1,750 m and offers a dormitory with 28 places.

Use is seasonal, running roughly from mid-June to mid-September. Evening dinner is served at 18:45, breakfast is served between 06:30 and 07:00, and you’re expected to follow the refuge’s dining times. Payment is by cash or travellers’ cheques; credit cards are not accepted.
