Refugio de Barannetas

Refugio de Barannetas is an unstaffed emergency-style mountain shelter in the Aragonese Pyrenees (near Port d'Ourdissétou). Use is free and it works on a first-come, first-served basis—there’s no reservation system or staff on site.

The hut is basic: bring your own sleeping setup (sleeping bag and sleeping mat), plus your own food and water. Plan for self-sufficiency and pack out everything you bring in, since it’s not managed in the same way as staffed refuges.
