Retakunna Cabin

Retakunna Cabin is a night-stop cabin on Tasmania’s Three Capes Track. You reach it on Day 3, after walking onward through forest and heathland from Munro cabin, and it serves as your last night before the final day toward Fortescue Bay and your return transport to Port Arthur Historic Site.

Booking is required for the Three Capes Track, and walkers must stay one night in each overnight stop—Surveyors cabin, Munro cabin, and Retakunna cabin. Cabin stays are part of the multi-day trek arrangement; you reserve your spot on the track and complete check-in at the overnight stops during the walk.
