Rickey Cabin

Rickey Cabin is a wilderness backcountry cabin in California’s Hoover Wilderness, within Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. Use it as an on-trail landmark rather than a bookable overnight cabin: it’s maintained as a historic structure and isn’t available for public overnight rentals or standard reservations.

Reaching the area typically starts from Obsidian Campground; from there, you hike the route leading up toward and past the cabin site.
