Rifugio Pagarì
Rifugio Pagarì is an alpine hut operated by Club Alpino Italiano sezione “Ligure” – Genova in the Maritime Alps, in the commune of Entracque at 2,627 m. It serves as a backcountry base for hikers working the upper Gesso valley and the surrounding peaks.
The hut sleeps 24. It operates during the main season from 15 June to 15 September; outside that period there is no full winter room—only an emergency shelter with a rescue phone (linked to 112). When the refuge is closed, bring a high-mountain sleeping bag and plan for no cooking, heating, or electricity systems; the hut has no cooking or heating facilities when closed.
Inside, it’s set up for hut living with a bar/kitchen/dining area in the main building, plus sleeping/dormitory space totaling 24 places. The hut also has heating by wood and running water.
