RÍO BLANCO LODGE
RÍO BLANCO LODGE is a community-based lodge built around hospitality on the Huambuno River in Ahuano (Napo, Ecuador). The on-site setup includes two double, triple, and quadruple cabins made with local traditional materials, with shared bathrooms supplied by natural water from a strong rock source.
From the lodge, local Kichwa guides host cultural and jungle-focused activities, including walks in the community forest and demonstrations such as Yachak’s rituals and cerbatana (blowpipe) practice. Visitors can also join activities related to local crafts, chakras, and fishing, plus outings connected to a local waterfall described as “Amarun Pacha” (an anaconda story) and time in the Kichwa community.
