Sacred Sueños

Sacred Sueños is a backcountry refuge in Ecuador’s Vilcabamba highlands. The project describes the refuge as part of an Andean mountain regeneration effort, founded in June 2004, with the purpose of creating a sustainable place for people and biodiversity in a formerly degraded hillside area.

The site also describes a broader setting with a second homestead within the project called Sierra y Cielo, where permaculture and regenerative agricultural practices are carried out.
