Salmon Arm Snow Blazers Chalet
Route Details
Salmon Arm Snow Blazers Chalet is a day-use backcountry shelter in the Fly Hills snowmobile and recreation area near Salmon Arm, British Columbia. It’s maintained by the Salmon Arm Snow Blazers and functions as a staging spot for trail riders, not as overnight accommodation.
On-site features include a fire pit, an outhouse, and cement loading ramps intended to make loading and unloading easier from the nearby trail network. The Fly Hills area is used for snowmobiling with large mapped areas at parking lots and the chalet, and main trails are maintained by the Salmon Arm Snow Blazers club.
Overnight stays are not permitted at the chalet; use it for daytime shelter and staging only. For day-to-day operation details and trail updates, the club contact channel is used rather than a reservation system.
