Sapphire Col Hut is an Alpine Club of Canada backcountry shelter (basic hut) with capacity for 4. It sits high in Glacier National Park and serves as a midway bivy on the Asulkan Ridge in summer, or as a base for ski touring in winter; it’s also the smallest hut in the ACC network. Use is year-round, but in all seasons advanced technical mountaineering and glacier travel skills are required, and the hut has minimal supplies—plan to be fully self-sufficient.
