Sayllapata

Sayllapata is a backcountry alpine hut used as a trek trailhead/checkpoint on the Salkantay Trek route in Peru. For multi-day treks on this corridor, it’s typically reached early on day one, where groups meet porters and transition into the hike (often following the common itinerary that continues toward Soraypampa and then Humantay).
