Sootip Cabin is a one-level wilderness cabin with a fireplace, described as local name for a backcountry shelter used by hikers and local dirt bikers. It’s not locked and use is not managed as a reservable site.
There’s no reservation system tied to the cabin; access is typically first-come, first-served, with approach described as a spur road at the end of a spur road off the Soo River FSR. Driving up the spur road is steep and rugged, and a high-clearance 4WD vehicle is commonly recommended.
