Route Details

Sorcerer Lodge is a helicopter-accessed backcountry lodge in the Selkirk Mountains of British Columbia, used as a base for guided, multi-day ski touring in winter and hiking/mountaineering-style trips in summer. The operator runs catered stays that combine lodge downtime with day trips off the property.

Bookings are handled directly through Sorcerer Lodge’s reservation process, and the standard package includes helicopter flights to and from the lodge, accommodation, prepared meals, and guiding services on guided trips. For winter 2027, trip pricing varies by dates and trip length, with options to pay in full at booking or via an installment plan that requires a smaller deposit to secure dates and a remaining balance due 90 days before the start date.

Winter trips run December through May, and summer hiking packages run July through September. Summer trips are catered and can be guided or self-guided; the operator lists minimum group sizes (4-guest minimum for 3–4 day trips; 6-guest minimum for 7-day full-lodge bookings).

The lodge operations are designed around remote, off-grid access: helicopter transfer is part of the trip, and trips include prepared food; sauna is referenced as part of the on-lodge return routine. Guests are expected to complete the lodge waiver/liability agreement as part of registration before attending.
