Steam Mill Yurt
Steam Mill Yurt is a winter backcountry lodging yurt operated by Powder Ridge Ski Touring in the Bear River Range of northern Utah. It’s part of the Powder Ridge Ski Touring yurt system accessed from Logan Canyon and is used for skiers and boarders looking for winter backcountry lodging.
Reservations are required through the operator’s online booking portal. The yurt sleeps up to 8 people, and the operator charges a fee: $225 for the first night at Steam Mill and $175 for each subsequent night (taxes apply). Guests complete required electronic forms and the operator sends a lock access combo only after all required forms are submitted for the group; refunds are available more than two weeks before a reservation.
