The Tea Hut
Route Details
The Tea Hut is a day-use interpretive wayside shelter on the Kludahk Trail, built by the Kludahk Outdoors Club. The hut is named the Tea Hut, and interpretive panels were installed there in late spring 2009 covering topics such as flowers, birds, mammals, tracking, forest/wetlands (including amphibians and reptiles), and local history related to harvesting and forest renewal.
For overnight stays in Kludahk cabins, you must be a Kludahk Outdoors Club member in good standing, and each cabin has a group limit to reduce impact on the surrounding environment, trail, and facilities. The hut sits on a working-forest trail corridor; stay on the trail right of way and note that no open fires are permitted on the trail. The operator also directs users to bring a Clean Trip Kit and practice Leave No Trace, packing out what they pack in.
