Trout Point Lodge
Trout Point Lodge is a luxury adults-only wilderness lodge in Nova Scotia, set within the UNESCO Southwest Nova Biosphere reserve, with stays in suites/cottages rather than backcountry-style hut rooms. It’s used as an on-site base for guided outdoor activities in the Tobeatic Wilderness area, including stargazing and activities around the Tusket River waterways.
The lodge’s “Getaway Package” includes all meals (daily breakfast and a gourmet 4-course Chef’s Menu dinner, plus a packed lunch or lunch in the dining room) and access to resort facilities such as a riverside wood-fired hot tub and a barrel sauna. The package also includes complimentary scheduled outdoor activities, with paddle options including kayaks/canoes and stand-up paddle boards.
Season runs from May 22, 2026 to early November 2026, and package pricing starts from $1,103 for two people, excluding a 10% service charge and 14% H.S.T. If arriving via the CAT Ferry, there’s a noted one-hour time difference that affects the ability to make the final dinner seating at 8:00 PM.
