Viking Centre

Viking Centre is a day-use alpine hut operated by the Castlegar Nordic Ski Club on the Paulson Cross Country Ski Trails. It functions as the main lodge for day-use sign-ins and as a rest stop for skiers, with conditional access based on sunrise/sunset.

Overnight stays are not offered, and the club does not take official advance bookings or overnight reservations for Viking Centre (the Mud Lake chalet) or its warming huts. A suggested $5/visit donation is recommended for non-members to support trail building and cabin/outhouse maintenance.
