Yirra Kartta

Yirra Kartta is a 12-person bivouac hut on the Munda Biddi Trail, in Mount Frankland National Park between Northcliffe and Walpole. Use is on a first-come, first-served basis—no bookings are accepted—so plan for the hut to be full and carry a tent backup if you need it.

Inside, there are timber sleeping platforms, plus rainwater tanks and designated tent sites. Groups of 8 or more must submit a Group Notification form at least 4 weeks before their ride, and Leave No Trace principles apply (pack out all rubbish; campfires are generally prohibited).
