Okanogan NF Pullout
Large pull out camp spot with 3-4 fire rings and tree coverage to give privacy from the road. Entrance is to the right of the boulders blocking an older entrance. Access to River below (via a steep trail), but the dogs loved it. Also had 2 bars LTE on Verizon. ATT also works here. Open: Yes Electricity: No Wifi: No Kitchen: No Restaurant: No Showers: No Water: Natural Source Toilets: No Big Rig Friendly: No Tent Friendly: Yes Pet Friendly: Yes Large pull out camp spot with 3-4 fire rings and tree coverage to give privacy from the road. Dry Creek Campground
Free. Campground is okay, very small. Maybe 5-6 spots in the trees, but you can camp in the dried up riverbed too, which is what we did. Be cautious of flash flooding when camping on the riverbed if storms or rain are expected. We only stayed one night and moved somewhere else the next day because the riverbed was too windy. There was no/ minimal wind at the top where the camp spots were. I didn’t check out the spots much, but they looked small and not much space to park. The port a potty was very clean. There was garbage everywhere, looked like a party spot. We stayed on a Thursday night and another group came in and stayed up partying until 3 am with a huge light on. It’s a nice day spot to get to the river, but it’s flowing fast. I wouldn’t camp here again.

Cle Elum River - Overlook
Right down a short side road is a large multi-family campsite that features multiple fire pits and flat ground for tent camping. Small RV’s can navigate into site however the short decline into the side road should be taken slow. There is some noise from the road as there is a very popular hiking trail further up the road. A one minute walk up a hill to a cliff gives you a gorgeous view of the river and a different path leads you to a path to the river that should be taken with extreme caution. There was plenty of dry deadfall for firewood. Bugs weren’t too bad but you should come prepared. would be sketchy for small kids as there are dropoffs. Boulder Creek dispersed camping
Only 3 Car-only Spots for tent camping on left side of the river. Only 1 has fire pit. Not big enough for RVs. Across the river on right side there are 5-6 primitive tent spots with fire pits in what looks like the official campground. Quiet beautiful spot, but popular.
