Amor Peak 1757m Prominence: 582m Highest peak on the ridge east of Moh Creek, and located about 4 km north of Cosmos Heights. In association with nearby Cosmos Height, named after Amor De Cosmos, second premier of British Columbia, 1872-74, and one of the most prominent figures in early political history in BC; a leader in the battle for responsible government and in the agitation for Confederation with the Dominion of Canada.

Cosmos
Cosmos Peak 1697m Prominence: 247m Highest peak on the craggy ridge named Cosmos Heights. The recorded ascent used helicopter to access the ridge about 2 km east of the peak, just east of Cosmos NE2. From there, they followed the ridge, traversing all summits, to the highest summit. They then continued SW and south to a broad, flat summit about 1.7 km SW of the main summit. Some class 3-4, with a rappel or two needed. The rock on the craggy parts of the ridge is a bit loose. Named in 1862 by Captain Richards, RN, in association with Amor Point, both after Amor De Cosmos (1826 - 1897), founder and first editor of Victorias Colonist newspaper, and 2nd premier of the Province of British Columbia.

Downie Peak 1316m Prominence: 1171m Downie Peak is the highest point of the Downie Range. It is a tight group of forested summits which divide Ramsay Arm from the mouth of Bute Inlet. The summits are not high but the ridge is very narrow and steep-walled with the two fjords on either side.

Estero Peak 1664m Prominence: 1589m This peak rises west of the mouth of Bute Inlet and east of Frederick Arm. Its south side is steep forest and the north face has a couple of steep 600m rock buttresses rising above Egerton Creek headwaters. Old logging roads in this valley would provide access if passable to foot traffic. One can approach by boat or floatplane in to Estero Basin to the north. There is a great pic of Estero in the Pacific Yachting cruising guide to Desolation Sound. Estero was named by the Spanish expedition which in conjunction with the English under George Vancouver, charted the Straight of Georgia and Desolation Sound.

Raza Peak 910m Prominence: 910m This is the highest point on Raza Island, just north of Redonda Island. Raza is Spanish for race, as in a people - often in Mexican Spanish, referring to the Mexican people as a unified race. This island was probably named during the days of the Spanish exploration of the coast in the 1780s and 90s.

Sonora Peak 893m Prominence: 893m Located on the east side of Sonora Island, opposite Stuart Island. This peak is the highest on Sonora Island. It is a tree covered summit, with steep cliffs on the eastern side dropping to the ocean. An old road leads to within 1 km of summit from St Aubyn Lake.
