Abri Fourmann

Alpine hutAbri Fourmann is a small, unstaffed backcountry shelter in the Massif des Vosges area near Saint-Quirin, in forests used for day hiking and as an emergency stop. It’s a free place to rest, with no reservation system—expect first-come use, and plan for basic day-use facilities rather than an equipped refuge environment.
Inside, there is a simple table and benches for sitting. Nearby route networks include the Club Vosgien marked itineraries (for example, the Sentier des Bornes), with the shelter commonly used as a turnaround point or short break on loops that also pass through the Col du Rognol area and the Tête de la Gorge aux Sangliers sector.
