Big Belt Hut
Big Belt Hut is a backcountry alpine hut in Montana’s Big Belt Mountains, operated by Montana Backcountry Yurts at about 8,600 ft on the Mt. Baldy Ridge. The hut provides lodging with bunks for up to 15 people, plus a full kitchen, dining area, and a woodstove; there’s also a wood-burning sauna nearby that fits up to 6 people.
Nightly rates are listed by season and group size: $500 per night in winter (Dec–May) for up to 8 people, plus $50 per person over 8; and $225 per night in summer (June–Nov) for up to 8 people, plus $25 per person over 8. Booking is required.
