Broken Dam Hut
Broken Dam Hut is an unstaffed backcountry hut in Kosciuszko National Park, used for informal overnight shelter, including emergency use. It isn’t a bookable, staffed accommodation: it’s first-come, first-served and you should be ready to share the hut if others arrive.
The hut sits along the Four Mile Track area (also reached via a trail to Snowy Plain). Access is on the bush track network rather than roads, and practical planning should assume limited facilities—commonly stoves/heating systems and a nearby water source are part of the huts in this area, but you should still carry appropriate gear for a night in the backcountry.
