Cabane des Fonts du Roc

Cabane des Fonts du Roc is an unmanaged backcountry shelter in the French Pyrenees at 1,540 m near La Fajolle. It provides a single sleeping place (a sleeping platform around 1. 20 m) and basic interior fittings such as a few shelves, but no seat or table setup.

The shelter is having a waterproof roof except for a broken chimney; the chimney’s flue is damaged. There is no fireplace or stove provided. Plan on carrying your own means for cooking/heating and a sleeping bag, and treat the space as first-come, first-served since there’s no caretaker operation.
