Cabane d'Esquierry

Cabane d'Esquierry is a free, unguided pastoral/forest shelter in the French Pyrenees (Luchonais), used mainly as an emergency shelter or brief stop along the GR 10 route. It sits at about 1,650 m and is extremely basic.

Use it on a first-come, first-served basis—there’s no booking system—so plan on being self-sufficient. Water is not something you should rely on; it may also be occupied during summer grazing, when shepherd activity is active.
