comunidad Salazar Aitaca is a community-run backcountry refuge in Ecuador’s Amazon region, in the Cantón Archidona (Provincia de Napo) on the banks of the río Copa. It’s set up for visitors to stay in rustic cabins and use the base for guided trekking and cultural/ecotourism activities around the river area, including outings tied to the Cascada del Copa.
