Croissant Wall

Croissant Wall is a south-facing sport-climbing crag in Cedar Park above Kelowna, with an overhung and vertical profile. Its bubbly, flakey-looking rock gives the wall its name, and the cliff receives sun throughout the day; rain can leave the routes wet.

The wall has 16 listed sport routes, ranging from 5.8 to 5.11d, with most climbs concentrated in the 5.11 range. Route lengths vary from short 12-metre climbs to the 37-metre Outerspace, with several lines in the 20–25-metre range. The approach is tagged at 10–20 minutes, with access described by a gentle rappel or walk-off.

A standout line is 51 Hotdogs, a 25-metre 5.11a protected by 10 bolts. It climbs steep terrain on positive holds, then finishes with an exposed, pumpy crux; John Lang made the first ascent in 2006.
