Dog House Shelter

Dog House Shelter is a backcountry hut managed by the Kelowna Snowmobile Club. It’s set up as a wilderness shelter for snowmobilers to get out of the weather during rides in the Kelowna area.

Within the broader backcountry-snowmobile shelter etiquette: shelters are day-use by default unless the managing club specifies otherwise; if you stop at the cabin, be prepared to contribute firewood supplies for the fire area and pack out all garbage you bring with you (there’s no maid service in the backcountry).
