Alpine hut

Donomore Cabin is a primitive alpine backcountry shelter along the Pacific Crest Trail on the California/Oregon border, maintained by volunteers and used primarily for day-use warming or an overnight stop by passing hikers. Use is first-come, first-served with no official advance booking system.

Inside, expect a rustic line-cabin setup with cots, a trail register, heat from a wood-burning stove, and an outdoor pit toilet. Typical user guidance is to replace any firewood used and leave the cabin clean for the next group.
