Alpine hutFranz Six Cabin is a wilderness backcountry hut on Teslin First Nation land near the headwaters of the Big Salmon River, used primarily by canoeists and other backcountry travelers. Use is on a first-come, first-served basis with no official advance reservation or booking process.
On-site there is a bear-proof food cache, and visitors use a logbook; entries have been recorded since 1993. Plan to follow standard hut etiquette: keep the cabin and surrounding area in good condition and pack out your trash.
