Gîte d'étape de Saint-Genès
Gîte d’étape de Saint-Genès is a commune-run stopover lodge in the village of Saint-Genès-Champespe, at 200 rue Georges Ladevie. It sits opposite the departure point for Petite Randonnée circuits and on the G.R. 30, making it well suited to multi-day hiking itineraries in the Sancy–Cantal area.
The gîte includes a main common room (116 m²) and an equipped kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, and induction hob, plus an electric oven and microwave. Sleeping is set up with a ground-floor bedroom with two single beds, for guests with reduced mobility, and adapted bathrooms; upstairs are four “box” rooms with single beds (box 1 has 4 beds; box 2 has 3; box 3 has 3; box 4 has 2). It also has separate toilets for women and men, and separate showers upstairs.
