Ingeegoodbee Hut
Ingeegoodbee Hut is a remote backcountry hut in the Pilot Wilderness area of Kosciuszko National Park, used as basic shelter for multi-day hikers, 4WD tourers, and horseback riders. It’s set up more as a survival/rest stop than a full-service cabin.
Use is first-come, first-served with no booking system for the hut. There are no usage fees for the hut itself, but Kosciuszko National Park entry fees apply, and you should plan on bringing your own sleeping setup and a tent in case the hut is full or you need emergency accommodation. For trip planning, track closures, 4WD access changes, and current weather alerts in the park. The hut is intended for emergency accommodation, so pack for the worst conditions rather than counting on facilities inside.
