Le Piolet

Le Piolet is a fully equipped, 4-season backcountry chalet operated in the Parc national de la Gaspésie sector (Mont-Albert). It’s positioned very close to the Gîte-du-Mont-Albert in the same Mont-Albert cluster, and it’s used as a reservation-based overnight base for winter and shoulder-season trips.

The chalet is set up for day-to-day self-catering: fridge, stove with oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a coffee maker. Sleeping arrangements include a sofa-bed, plus a wood-burning slow-combustion stove (with wood provided) and electric heating. Hot/cold potable water and a full bath-shower are available. Capacity is for a few occupants, with the youth 17 and under policy applying.
