Meany Lodge
Meany Lodge is a Mountaineers Club alpine hut used as an overnight lodge and winter-sports base, located about 60 miles east of Seattle off I-90 near Stampede Pass in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. The lodge runs on a volunteer model and hosts work parties to keep the property and winter operations ready.
During the summer, Meany Lodge offers activities such as biking, hiking, and mushroom hunting, and it also supports work-party weekends where members learn and help with tasks like trail work and maintaining ski-area infrastructure. For vehicle access in summer and fall (typically May to November), driving to the lodge is described as possible and parking is free during that period.
