Neige et Merveilles

Neige et Merveilles is a backcountry lodge operated by L'association Neige et Merveilles near the Parc National du Mercantour, in the hameau de la Minière de Vallauria at about 1500 m altitude. It functions as a gîte d’étape and séjour site for hikers and organized groups, including individuals and school stays.

The property can host up to 120 people and has both dorm-style “refuge” rooms and “confort” rooms with private bathrooms. On-site facilities include a bistro, activity/stage/training rooms, a volley and pétanque area, a baby-foot, a ping-pong table, games, and a library; there’s also access to the mine visit connected with the local history.
