Refuge de la Cantonnière

Refuge de la Cantonnière is a backcountry alpine hut in the Mercantour area (Estenc, 06470) used for hiking and winter-oriented excursions. The hut is run on reservation, and it’s open year-round.

Sleeping is organized for up to 36 people, with multiple dorms (including configurations of 4–5 beds) and additional double-bed rooms. On-site, there are hot showers and communal heating, plus a kitchen focused on family-style meals; breakfast and dinner are available, with summer lunch hours set from 12h to 14h30.
