Refuge de la Scherhol

Refuge de la Scherhol is an unstaffed shelter in the Vosges, run by the Club Vosgien (Wissembourg section). It’s meant for emergency/day use rather than as a place to plan an overnight stay.

The shelter has no heating: the stove/heat source was removed, so bring warm layers if you expect cold. There are no beds or bedding provided there; for a bookable option nearby, the staffed Refuge du Pigeonnier is the one to plan for.
