Squirrel's Nest Camping Shelter #1

Squirrel's Nest Camping Shelter #1 is a pair of screened primitive camping shelters at Historic Blakeley State Park, rented to individuals or small groups. Each shelter sleeps up to six people, with hammock hooks installed, and sleeping bags can be used on the platforms; shelters do not have water or power service.

The site includes picnic tables, fire rings, a grill, and a portable restroom. Rental is $30 per night for up to two people, with $5 per night for additional campers age 6 and up, and park admission is included. Reservations are required, and the first-night portion is nonrefundable; check-in runs between 1 PM and 7 PM, with a later check-in window from 7–9 PM, and the park gate closes at 9 PM for checked-in guests only.
