Waugoshance - Rustic Cabin

Waugoshance - Rustic Cabin is a backcountry wilderness hut in Wilderness State Park (Carp Lake, Michigan) operated by the park. It’s a rustic, 8-sided log cabin that sleeps up to 8 people, with bunk beds and a wood stove for heat; there’s no electricity inside.

Use is by reservation. The cabin has a nearby outhouse and water pump, and it’s a place to plan around limited utilities—bring your own sleeping bags, pillows, drinking water, and cooking/lighting supplies. Pets are permitted under Michigan State Park pet regulations.
