Wayback Layback Area

Wayback Layback Area, also called Wayback Layback Area (FTGU Right), is a five-route sector within the From The Ground Up area at Harrison Bluffs, British Columbia. It sits on the lowest tier of the bluffs, immediately beside the point where the approach trail from the powerline road reaches the crag.

The sector’s routes are reached by the shortest approach among the Harrison Bluffs areas—about one minute from the powerline. The surrounding climbing is primarily single-pitch v-crack and arete climbing, with some slab and two-pitch options; conditions can be damp in early spring.

The sector includes Wayback Layback at 5.10c, Bloody Finger at 5.11a, and Crack Of Dawn at 5.11b/c. Their listed styles include sport, top rope, and trad, giving the small crag a mixed-climbing character.
