Wilsons Ck Hut

Wilsons Ck Hut (also known as Wilsons Creek Hut) is a remote backcountry cabin-style shelter in Victoria’s High Country near Bendoc, just off Marriot track. It’s a day-use rest shelter, with many visitors camping in the nearby designated grassy camping area rather than staying overnight in the hut itself.

Use is free, but there’s no reservable setup for the hut or the surrounding camping area—expect first-come, first-served use. The hut has an open fireplace, picnic tables, and long-drop (pit) toilets, and it’s set up for respectful use under the High Country Huts Code.

Access is via backroads from Marriot track; 4WD is recommended because the approach can involve unsealed, steep, and slippery conditions in wet weather. Bring your own firewood as a backup, follow existing fire pits, pack out all rubbish, and handle the historic structure with care.
