Yurt 6
Yurt 6 is an ADA-accessible backcountry yurt at Dead Horse Point State Park, operated from the park’s Wingate Campground area. It sleeps up to 6 people and is reserved (not first-come, first-served).
Inside, it’s set up with bunk beds and a pullout futon, with a maximum group size of 6. The yurt includes heating/air conditioning and electricity; bedding and towels are not provided. For cooking, gas grills are provided (no open flames or indoor cooking), and there’s an outdoor fire pit/fire area in the park’s designated locations. Nightly pricing runs about $150 per night (plus taxes), with check-in at 3:00 pm and checkout at 12:00 pm; an extra-vehicle fee applies with a stated limit of one vehicle entrance per reserved yurt. Pets are not allowed in the Wingate yurts.
