The Portal Boulders

The Portal Boulders is a featured bouldering area near Squamish, with problems concentrated in the V2–V7 range. The documented selection includes one V2–V3 problem, five V4–V5 problems, and one V6–V7 problem.

Named problems include Sharksbait's Mom, Mini Moon Arete, Five Fingers Discount, Tambourine Man, Helping Hands, Organ Donor, and First Come, First Served. The latter is graded V6 / 7A and is recognized as a standout problem.

From Squamish, park at the viewpoint beyond the campground/park exit. Walk down to the freeway, continue north beside the road, then take the small forest path uphill toward the boulders.
