Abri de la Triade

Abri de la Triade is a non-guarded backcountry shelter in the Vosges area (630 m). It has a locked-in sleeping area with paving-stone flooring, and it includes a chimney and an outdoor bench covered in rain.

The shelter is set up for simple stopovers: there’s an on-site barbecue area and a nearby water supply carried via a pipe from a source a short distance away. The stove is present for cooking/heat, but there’s no designated latrine. For safety, keep kids away from the nearby steep, hazardous rock outcrop next to the shelter.
