Abri du Lac de Cap de Long

Abri du Lac de Cap de Long is an unmanaged backcountry shelter (cabane non gardée) used by hikers on the GR10. It sits at 2,128 m and is meant for emergency, free, first-come-first-served use.

The shelter is concrete with low, stacked side walls, and inside you’ll find simple furnishings: a table and benches, plus some foam mattresses. It provides sleeping capacity for 12 people. No fireplace or stove is provided, so plan on eating and sleeping with your own gear.
