Abri du Molard de la Justice

Abri du Molard de la Justice is a free, unstaffed forestry shelter (cabane non gardée) in the French Jura, near the Château d’Oliferne. It’s intended for emergency-style use and bivouacking rather than formal overnight accommodation.

It’s open to the public year-round on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no sleeping places, mattresses, or covers provided, and there’s no water within 100 m; there are also no latrines or stove/wood-burner facilities at the abri itself. Pack your own water and shelter gear for the night.

Access runs from the village of Boutavant toward the château d’Oliferne, using the route along/near the crête viewpoints overlooking the Valouse valley.
