Abri du Sommerseite

Abri du Sommerseite is a free, year-round backcountry chalet-type shelter in the Vosges valley of the Doller area, used by hikers for breaks and overnight stays. It’s a non-gated shelter with a wood exterior and a stove for heating; the door is hinged, and there is at least one window.

For use, follow the chalet rules: no motorized access, no reservations or rentals, and pack out all trash. Use the stoves/any fireplaces carefully and extinguish before leaving.
